I am honored to introduce myself to you as the newly appointed Interim Principal of Mary C. Williams Elementary School. I possess over 23 years educational experience spanning grades K-8. My most recent experience has been shaped by seven years of success as an Assistant Principal for New Hanover County Schools. I am anxious to bring my experience as an educational leader to Mary C. Williams Elementary School and to work with you as a partner in your child’s education.
I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established by Mrs. Stone, building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and our community. We will focus on fostering a nurturing and safe environment for children, the use of data to plan instruction, and implement strategies to increase your child’s excitement for learning.
Mrs. Vickers and I, along with our wonderful staff, anticipate a very successful year. It is my hope that we will all work together to provide our students with the best possible opportunities, preparing them to be ready to master the challenges of the 21st Century with a solid foundation created here at our school.
